Overview:
As a Wooden Reel Production Team Lead, you will oversee the production, quality control, and team leadership in manufacturing wooden reels used across various industries. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee production team involved in manufacturing wooden reels.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and maintain quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure wooden reels meet specifications.
• Enforce safety protocols to uphold a safe work environment.
• Operate the sit-down forklift to support production and logistics needs.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics to manage inventory effectively.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manufacturing or production.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience, showing effective team management skills.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Strong motivational skills to encourage team members to meet daily production quotas.
• Capability to hold team members accountable for performance and policy adherence.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Prior military background is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Labor intensive with heavy lifting involved.
• Non-climate controlled environment.
• Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
