Education And ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
One year experience of food preparation, kitchen skills and food service preferred
Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of simple food preparation techniques. Knowledge of first in-first out rotation method used in kitchens. Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization methods. Ability to put up stock and maintain dry and refrigerated storage areas. Ability to use various types of food preparation equipment. Ability to wash and sterilize pots, pans, dishes, and utensils.
Capable of climbing a ladder or step stool and lifting up to 50 lbs. Good vision (corrected or uncorrected). Ability to stand for long periods of time.
