Ophthalmology LTD delivers treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, as well as cornea transplants, oculoplastic surgery, retina surgery, vitreoretinal surgery, and pediatric eye care in Sioux Falls.

Ophthalmology LTD is looking for an experienced Handyman to take on general care, maintenance, servicing, grounds care, and other projects. We're looking for someone who is proud to use their skills to aid us in maintaining our building inside and out. 

This is a part-time position, approximately 15-20 hours per week, schedule is flexible based on workload during the work-week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Maintains the physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
-Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures tasks are resolved quickly.
-Acts as a liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
-Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
-Ensures safety standards are followed throughout the facility.
-Maintains inventory of supplies, reordering as needed.
-Special projects and miscellaneous duties as requested.

Position requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license
Basic carpentry skills
Reliable problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Capable of lifting loads above 50 pounds
Strong customer service skills
