OPPORTUNITIES, INC. is Hiring an EHR Application Service Manager Near Bloomington, MN

We are searching for an EHR Application Service Manager who is responsible for the management of Fraser’s electronic health records systems, including day-to-day support, ongoing upgrades, documentation, data quality, and collaboration with others re: end user training. In this role you will analyze the needs and requests of users, programs and departments. In conjunction with the EHR Project Director and approval of management, you will help to design, build, test, and deploy dashboards, forms, and reports that support those needs. 

Primary Responsibilities:

DATA OVERSIGHT/REPORTING/ANALYTICS:

  • Works with staff, supervisors, leadership and partners to help define and create a data environment that supports measurement and benchmarking, reporting and decision-making, clinical outcomes and cost benefit of services.
  • Maintain workflows. Analyze, design, configure, educate and support the implementation of those requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining effective data analysis and public reporting policies; supports strategic goals; and assists in collaborative relationships with all stakeholders according to the goals and objectives of Fraser.
  • Develops accurate, comprehensive and accurate reports for end users, leadership and external partners
  • Proficient with a variety of reporting tools - may include: Crystal, Access, Excel, SQL, others.

DATABASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT:

  • Develop requirements, test new functionality to ensure that it meets the operational requirements and bring to EHR governance for approval.
  • Perform basic and advanced troubleshooting and problem replication in order to identify and verify underlying cause of errors and customer related problems.
  • Supports EHR information integrity including; data deduplication, legacy data migration and validation and data quality assurance.
  • Manages risks, issues and changes to EHR; and participates in developing and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure optimal EHR database configuration and management, including being a liaison between end users and vendor for issue resolution.
  • EHR administrative duties including: user setup, security/administration and monitoring, software end-user support, software upgrade management and testing.

Location and Schedule:

  • Hybrid/Remote Bloomington, MN 
  • Monday - Friday standard business hours 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in computer science or business administration or related field preferred. Associate Degree and related experience.
  • Three years of experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications. Database maintenance and oversight experience in a medical and/or nonprofit environment preferred. Ability to develop and modify database applications. 
  • Three years of experience statistical analysis and healthcare reporting
