SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Enhanced Advocates provide crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, and information about the criminal justice system. Two advocates for domestic violence calls (one lead and a second) or one advocate for sexual assault calls to the hospital.
Compensation: $20 per weekday, $30 per weekends, and $15 per hour when responding while on call.
Work Schedule: on-call 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. evenings, and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on holidays and weekends. Willing to cover at least one weekend per month and two calendar holidays per year.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System, Social Work, and Domestic Violence, preferred but not necessary.
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driver’s license.
Bilingual skills preferred.
