OPPORTUNITIES, INC. is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Homewood, IL

Job Purpose:

Supports sales department. 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service to Existing Clients.
  • Assist with Qualifying Digital Leads.
  • Utilize Salesforce Tool to Ensure Customer Data Integrity is Maintained.
  • Support General Manager with Servicing House Accounts / Distributors.
  • Liaison between Sales, Production, and Shipping Team
  • Point Person for Salespeople on Order and Demo ETA changes.
  • Maintain/update customer accounts/orders in the Epicor ERP system.
  • Backup to the Sales Team when they are traveling; communicate and service customers on their behalf.
  • Help Consolidate Customer Feedback from Sales Team / Share with Marketing.
  • Creation of sales deck pitches for the Sales Team
  • Maintaining supplies of sales deck presentations, slides, and Marketing material
  • Working Independently to Drive Company and Personal Success.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
  • Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
  • Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all Companywide policies to eliminate and/or reduce liability exposure.
  • Special projects or work as assigned

Qualifications Guidelines

Experience/Training/Education:

Required:High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of relevant experience in customer Service and/or Inside Sales. Bi-Lingual (English / Spanish)

Desired:Associates Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field. Experience with CRM tools, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. Higher level computer skills

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Requires knowledge and understanding of product line; Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge/Experience utilizing CRM systems; Salesforce preferred. Knowledge/Experience utilizing ERP systems; Epicor preferred. Sales experience. Knowledge of office practices, business correspondence techniques and English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation; principles of customer service, public relations and communications; records management and file maintenance; knowledge of word processing, data base and spreadsheet software applications. Skills required include use of standard office equipment including telephones, calculators, copiers and facsimile equipment. Ability to accept constructive criticism; Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; maintain the confidentiality of data; collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; prioritize, organize, and complete tasks independently. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and work cooperatively with customers, sales representatives, staff, management, and other associates.

Physical and Environmental Elements:

This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, typewriter keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries reports and records that typically weigh less than 20 pounds.
