Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Manager provides oversight and support to the Estimating, Process Development, Quality Management and Business Compliance functions for the organization.

• Salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 based upon years of experience
• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

How will you make a difference?

As part of our team, you will:

1. Leadership

• Identify and implement projects to obtain yearly cost saving and achieve quality objectives.
• Ensure that staffing, personnel development, and yearly performance evaluations are meeting company needs and objectives.
• Manage all direct employee’s providing support in the areas of hiring, personnel development, and yearly performance evaluations.

2. Process Development / Estimating

• Develop, implement, and maintain key Process Engineering processes to meet Opportunity Partners strategic objectives and customer expectations.
• Provide manufacturing support for sales and marketing initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement and corrective action activities related to optimizing manufacturing processes. Facilitate Safety, 5S, and lean initiatives.

3. Quality Management System (QMS)

• Act as QMS Management Representative and facilitate all internal and external audits.
• Identify QMS systems requirements to meet interested parties’ key expectations and communicate to leadership team.
• Ensure QMS objectives and metrics are reported to leadership team.

4. Business Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain compensation policies and systems for disabled employees.
• Assure compliance with applicable Department of Labor regulations and other federal and state regulations as it affects disabled employees.

What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 5 years of experience in a quality system driven contract manufacturing environment is required.
• 2 to five years of experience with estimating and process development is required.
• 2 to five years of supervision experience
• Exposure and practical application of 5S and lean process implementation is required.
• Strong familiarity with Quality Management System processes and requirements is required.
