OpSource is Hiring a 3rd shift Supervisor Near Greenville, SC
Looking for your next opportunity in leadership with an established company? OpSource Greenville has partnered with a mail printing company located in Greenville, SC. They are seeking an experienced supervisor , with machining experience strongly preferred. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work 12 hour shifts and overtime as needed.
Shift3rd Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM set 2-2-3 schedule (NOT swing shifts) PAY RATE:
$20.00 - $25.00/hr.
Essential FunctionsParticipates in employee performance reviews and disciplinary action in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Meet deadlines and achieve production goals pertaining to workflow, employees and equipment.
Adheres to production schedules and manages employee time.
Train employees to ensure job skill proficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Participating in continuous improvement and process measures to increase productivity.
Conducts QC checks as per standard operating procedures, ensuring quality of work is per customer expectations.
Operates equipment as needed to ensure schedule is completed.
Skills, Experience And QualificationsPreferred High School/GED or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Excellent attendance record and punctuality
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge Of USPS Regulations Preferred Supervisory ResponsibilitiesPreferred supervisory experience and/or relevant education. Work Environment:
Production Facility
Physical DemandsMust be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 12 hours/day
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) : Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions
Security ClearanceThis is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects
