Hiring an experienced lowboy operator to haul heavy equipment, pipe and construction supplies to and from our project sites. We are 100% SC Certified Drug Free Workplace.
ResponsibilitiesThe CDL Driver responsibilities include safely and efficiently loading and unloading materials and equipment, and adhere to all company policies, DOT and MSHA regulations.
REQUIREMENTS Must Have Class A CDL W/Hazmat Endorsement.At least 3 years of experience handling heavy haul up to 80 tons gross weight. Ability to self-permit or willingness to learn. Comply with Federal/State DOT regulations and records. Load securement training. Load and unload heavy equipment.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks in accordance with DOT and Company standards. Clean and maintain truck’s equipment and supplies. Practice workplace safety.
SKILLS NEEDED Ability to operate and inspect tractors and trailers in accordance with DOT regulations. Ability to drive in a safe and responsible manner. Have knowledge of or adept at learning the basic operation of a wide variety of equipment in order to load and transport them safely. Analytical and problem solving. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records. TIME MANAGEMENT and ATTRIBUTES The incumbent must demonstrate the following personal attributes.
Be honest, trustworthy, and respectful. Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity. Flexibility.
