Production Team Leader OpSource has partnered with a manufacturer company located in Gray Court, SC. Pay for the position: $20-24 Depends on experience. Shifts for the position: 12 hours shift, 7am to 7pm Job requirements for the position may include: The Production Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership and support to manufacturing teams while driving efficient production to meet business goals and promoting team effectiveness/development. Responsible for: Safety, Quality, Production, Work Practices, Line KPIs, Documentation, Policy & Procedures including training, attendance, payroll, discipline, paid time off approval, breaks and housekeeping. Adhere and promote company safety procedures. Adhere to the Quality Policy to ensure our products and services meet the customer’s expectations. Coordinate work assignments for team. Plan and address technical issues production changes, coverage of absences. Communicate problems and issues to appropriate resources in a timely manner. Manage and effectively use team meetings to drive communication and address production issues. Initiate appropriate action for non-compliance. Establish and promote a positive work environment. Ensure team members have tools needed for job responsibilities, including PPE. Responsible for daily adherence and corrective actions for production and safety. Qualifications for the position: Previous leadership experience required Flexibility to work according to the company’s business needs and overtime as required. 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment desired. Mechanical and troubleshooting experience preferred Effective written and oral communication skills. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office) Ability to read and interpret operations documents. Knowledge of the metric system is a plus. Demonstrated effective leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Successful training and coaching skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to build a connection with the team through personal involvement and trust Physical requirements
