Will train on 1st shift then moved to 3rd Pay for this position: $16 training pay $16.75 3rd shift Job Description for this position: Patrol front and back of roving frame. Take empty drawing cans from back of roving frame and load to can conveyor. Take full drawing cans from can conveyor and push to back of roving frame. Creel full cans at the back of the roving frame. Piece-up ends at both front and back of the roving frame. Once roving packages are full (8 to 9-pound package), remove from roving spindle and place in metal buggy.
Remove up to 96 packages per doff, twice per shift, per frame (Operator may be assigned up to 2 frames per shift). After doffing full package, replace spindle with new empty bobbin. Wipe down front of roving frame with brush twice per shift. Put sliver and roving waste in proper waste containers. Keep empty plastic bags (covers for full drawing sliver cans) off floor. Miscellaneous duties assigned by supervisor.
