Shifts Available:We have day or night Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN Positions Available. Our shifts are 8 ½ hrs.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) daily responsibility will be to evaluate assigned patients within one of our Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our nurses direct the CNAs in their daily care of residents. Their role will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. They’ll also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. They’ll represent the facility with integrity, free of gifts or improper inducements. A Licensed Practical Nurse LPN adheres to the facility’s Core Values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person.
  • Providing great patient care.
  • Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families.
  • Administering medications and other treatments.
  • Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures.
  • Promoting patient’s independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals.
  • Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
  • Stay up to date on Nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements:
  • State of Michigan Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Valid Identification
  • COVID 19 Vaccination or Exemption
  • Comfortable using a computer.

Experience:
  • Prior experience in long term care is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Infection Control is preferred.
