Job Title: Regional Director
Location: St. Louis, MO
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for providing behavioral assessment and intervention services to clients with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to evidence-based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Key Responsibilities:
Intake of New Clients: Conduct initial assessments and intake procedures to gather relevant information about new clients.
Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA): Perform comprehensive FBAs to identify the function of challenging behaviors exhibited by clients.
Assist provisional LBAs (pLBAs) with FBAs: Provide guidance and support to pLBAs in conducting FBAs, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
Behavior Support Plans (BSPs): Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective interventions.
Assist pLBAs with BSP Development: Support pLBAs in designing and implementing BSPs tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
Caregiver Training: Train and educate caregivers on the implementation of Behavior Support Plans, including teaching appropriate behavioral strategies and techniques.
Supervision of pLBAs: Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to pLBAs, including case review, feedback sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress, make data-driven decisions, and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and promote generalization of skills across settings.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, interventions, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, IDD, and other behavioral challenges.
Strong clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior support plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supervising and mentoring paraprofessional behavior technicians or direct support staff.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Experience using electronic data collection systems and behavior tracking software.
Other Information:
This position requires travel to client homes, schools, day programs, jobs, and other community settings.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
