Position Description:
The Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer is a member of Product Development organization.
The PVT Engineer is 'first line of defense' with regards to quality.
The PVT Engineer has several responsibilities associated with analyzing and improving the Quality of the vehicles.
Review incoming warranty claims data on a daily basis, review customer and dealership comments, bin claims into proper binning categories, contact dealership/s for parts and repair diagnoses, participate in customer call back to ensure proper understanding of customer feedback, review returned parts for root cause analyses and develop Interim Containment and Permanent Corrective Actions.
Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality related tasks.
Lead engineering commodity changes for future minor product launches and lead cost reduction actions in current production vehicles.
Skills Required:
Computer Proficient Self Starter
Experience Required:
1 Year Automotive Related
Education Required:
BS Engineering
