Responsibilities For Quality Manager
- Establishes and ensures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all functions.
- Develops and implements processes to ensure that product meets required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to General Manager, Production Manager, Engineers, and other appropriate staff.
- Coordinates and participates in product testing processes and perform inspections
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur and recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues
- Uses metrology equipment for testing purposes.
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action process
- Identify issues and methods to reduce costs in manufacturing processes.
- Completes excel spreadsheets and records all data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 3 years' experience in a quality role - with manufacturing experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- In depth knowledge of quality assurance processes and lean philosophies
- Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus
- Previous experience implementing quality systems a plus.
- Lean certification is a plus.
- Experience with ISO-9001 is a plus Self-motivated.
