Position Overview:

We are currently hiring multiple experienced Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of MEP systems in construction projects. They will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects meet quality standards, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems for building projects.
  2. Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and sustainability of MEP systems.
  3. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate MEP design and integration with architectural and structural elements.
  5. Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to evaluate existing conditions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in MEP engineering to enhance design quality and efficiency.
  8. Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and concerns.
  9. Review and evaluate contractor submittals, shop drawings, and MEP installation progress to verify compliance with design intent and specifications.
  10. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules, and contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential opportunities and client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering design and project management, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software tools for MEP design and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
