Optimum RV, a growing full-service RV Dealer, is seeking a Forklift Operator!

Summary:

We’re looking for qualified candidates to fill an immediate opening for the Forklift Operator position. Experience operating forklifts and maneuvering trailers is a must! This is a full-time position at our rapidly growing facility!

Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment in a safe manner adhering to safety standards at all times.
• Help to ensure the units are organized and in proper alignment
• Pull units as necessary for customers or for transport
• Operate a tractor and/or forklift
• Drive RV units as required
• Use generators
• Operate slide-outs
• Manage small repairs independently
• Identify problem units
• Keep units and equipment secure from weather
• Move units in and out of the service department throughout the day as directed by the management team.
• Maintain the inventory yard, ensuring that all units are parked in the appropriate rows as directed by the Sales Manager
• Sweep, pick up trash and debris, empty garbage cans to keep the lot clean and professional in appearance.
• All other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License - clean driving record
• Towing experience highly preferred
• Demonstrable experience pulling and backing tractor trailers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with 20,000lb Forklift
• CDL A Highly Preferred
