Options Exteriors is a dynamic and growing company, dedicated to excellence in roofing and exterior home services. With a commitment to customer satisfaction and best in class workmanship, we're seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our finance team.
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office per week)
Experience Level: Senior
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee payroll tax processes, ensuring compliance with all regulations and accuracy in calculations.
- Conduct general month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Independently manage day-to-day accounting tasks and projects, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines effectively.
- Generate insightful financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on payroll tax, month-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Acumatica would be a plus) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
