Options Residential is Hiring a Direct Support Professional - FT Evenings Near Rosemount, MN
Come work at Options Residential and make a difference!We are a 245D licensed program which provides services to individuals who have mental illness, brain injuries, or substance use concerns. We operate 4 person group homes and individual apartment settings. Our residential services are rehabilitative, and our aim is to help individuals reach their personal goals for independence.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm-11pmSalary: $17.00 hourlyWhat do Direct Support Professionals do?DutiesDSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to):
Options Residential, Inc will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.

- Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary
- Teaching and maintaining skills
- Cooking and feeding assistance
- Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
- Medication administration
- And participating in fun recreational activities with residents!
- No degree is required! If you have a High School diploma (or equivalent) and are over the age of 18, we will provide all of the training that you need to provide high-quality care; no experience is necessary
- DSPs are people-oriented - they assist individuals with their care giver skills, provide Home Services, and strive to improve their quality of life!
- DSPs are adaptable and flexible - they enjoy doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction that keep their work day interesting
- They are dependable - provide efficient and exemplary personal care assistance
- 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to do personal cares (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting) with clients
- Valid US driver's license
- Basic computer skills
- Health and Dental insurance available for 30 hr/wk employees
- Paid Sick time for all employees
- Vacation for 40 hr/wk employees
- Paid training
- Flexible scheduling
- Overtime rate paid on worked holidays
- $500 referral bonuses!
