Job Title: Test Automation Engineer (Contract)

Location: Onsite - 3 days/week in either Kansas City, MO or Chicago, IL

Type: 12-month contract

Work Authorization: W2 required; U.S. Citizens preferred due to domain specifications, but strong Green Card holders are considered.

Interview Process:

1. Initial screening with hiring manager (15-20 minute quick vetting conversation)
2. Second and final round: Panel interview with the end client team

About the Role: Seeking three experienced Test Automation Engineers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for seasoned professionals with a background in test automation, specifically with RestAssured , to contribute to high-impact projects with a prestigious client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a 100% automation environment to enhance existing test automation frameworks.
• Use RestAssured for API test automation.
• Collaborate with the end client team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Must-Haves:

• 5-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with RestAssured.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to work as a hands-on test engineer/developer.
• Proven experience in projects using RestAssured for Rest API's.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to articulate technical choices (e.g., why RestAssured over Postman) during the interview process.
• Experience working with the Java / Selenium / Rest Assured tech stack.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with other API automation tools such as Karate, Postman, and Selenium.
• Ability to enhance and optimize existing test automation frameworks.
