Our client, a distinguished boutique law firm in Atlanta, seeks a Commercial Litigation Attorney with Construction Law experience to join their team. This firm offers a collegial, boutique firm environment, and a low billable requirement of just 1500 annually with a quarterly bonus for all hours over 375!

Renowned for its expertise in construction, litigation and general corporate matters, this firm excels in providing comprehensive legal services to developers, design professionals, general contractors, and specialty trade contractors. The firm is known for its strategic approach and successful track record in handling complex construction-related legal matters.

The Opportunity

• Litigation Management: Oversee all aspects of commercial litigation, including pre-litigation evaluation, negotiation, and trial
• Drafting & Filing: Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Construction Contracts: drafting, reviewing and negotiating
• Discovery & Depositions: Conduct thorough document reviews, e-discovery, and depositions
• Court Appearances: Manage hearings and mediations, and prepare for and participate in trials and arbitration hearings
• Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients, providing strategic advice and maintaining strong client relationships
• Strategy Integration: Incorporate overall litigation strategy into daily tasks to ensure cohesive case management

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial litigation and construction law within a law firm environment
• Proficiency and expertise in the Georgia Civil Practice Act and local court rules
