Position Responsibilities:

• The RN specializing in Perioperative Nursing practice performs nursing activities in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of the patients' surgical experience
• The RN will assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate their patients, in order to provide a safe surgical experience.
• Monitor the patient during surgery, and coordinate care throughout the process.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Iowa RN License is required
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
