ORA is Hiring an Office Administrative Assistant Near Los Angeles, CA

Part-Time Architecture & Interior Design Studio Assistant

ORA is a woman-owned architecture and interior design firm located in downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. We’re passionate about what we do, and we’re looking for an energetic Studio Assistant to help us keep our studio operating smoothly and efficiently.

This position is a good fit for someone with a friendly & positive demeanor, who is highly responsible and detail oriented, and who can calmly and efficiently organize and manage different personalities and a range of day-to-day activities. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in creative or professional services industries, where you’ve demonstrated and enjoyed similar responsibilities
  • Excellent computer skills in Google Workplace, Adobe Reader; MS Office
  • Graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign are a plus

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations:

  • Oversee studio, visitor and client hospitality
  • Maintain an organized and orderly office
  • Manage office calendar, studio events, and field trips
  • Liaise with consultants and vendors
  • Assist with employee timesheet and reimbursable expenses
  • Assist with business taxes, insurances, licenses and memberships renewals
  • Assist with employee on-boarding and off-boarding
  • Support design staff with day-to-day requests
  • Manage industry trade accounts

Finance:

  • Assist bookkeeper with monthly accounts payable and receivable process
  • Assist with monthly invoicing process

Marketing:

  • Assist with social media
  • Assist with marketing/business development projects

This is a part-time (20-hours per week), in-person position. We can accommodate flex days/schedules based on your needs. We offer a competitive salary that’s commensurate with skills and experience. Our part-time employee benefits package includes paid PTO, Holidays, and annual education stipend.
