Job Title - Sr Oracle Apps DBA

Location - Albany, NY

Contract Duration - 12 Months Onsite

Job Description

1. Apply latest security patches. These patches will also include a Java update.
2. Update to the latest version of EBS (12.2.13) or at least 12.2.8/
3. The Client is currently on 12.2.6 and they need to be at 12.2.8 to be at a level and migrate to database to 19c.
4. Migration of the database backend from AIX to RHEL.
5. Testing of Database
6. upgrade to the operating system tools
7. The Client is currently running on AIX 7.1 so they might need to upgrade AIX to 7.2 to make this work
8. Upgrade the database backend to 19c and move from AIX to RHEL.

Scope of the whole project includes:

• Basic Security Patching
• Upgrade from Oracle Discoverer to BI Publisher
• Getting Application Tier to Red Hat
• Upgrade of Software Printing
• Oracle Primavera is already running on RedHat for the client.
