Lead an Incident team that will install code, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production cloud technologies including both hardware and software for Oracle National Secure Regions (ONSR). Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively driven to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, detailed understanding of cloud technologies and software development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
This role will lead T1 and 2 Incident operations personnel, collaborate with the Sr. Manager, National Security Regions. Also manage hiring and training, performance review of all Level 1 ONSR security operations personnel, and provide delivery of all Level 1 security operations capabilities on a 24x7x365 basis.
Lead team responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. Will perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This is an opportunity to bring a combination of technical knowledge with administration/analysis knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide critical issue support to a variety of complex production environment problems related to immense growth, scaling, leverage, and extremely high performance, and high availability requirements.
Provide technical support for complex technical issues which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status. Coordinate escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or third party vendors to resolution and coordinate a storage infrastructure of Oracle system and database appliances. Responsible for Oracle production environments; assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching; and work on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack while providing consistent system uptime as expected in a Cloud environment. Provide on-call support, on a rotating basis. Travel may be required in accordance with business needs.
