ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE is Hiring an Administration coordinator Near Miami, FL

POSITION : Coordinator, Administration

DEPARTMENT : Human Resources / Business Office

REPORTS TO : Director, Human Resources / CFO

STATUS : Full-Time, Non-Exempt (On-Site)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

General

Daily administrative and receptionist duties : greets guest and staff daily, answer and direct all incoming calls to the office, paging staff as needed.

Manage daily office operations (e.g. calling for repairs, Copier, AC adjustments, office improvements, incoming & outgoing mail, etc.

  • Complete daily opening and close duties and documenting lost and found items
  • Assist guests with questions and forward their comments / questions to the appropriate individual(s)
  • Assist other departments with written communications as directed
  • Keep literature supplied from various departments and organize accordingly in the inner and outer lobbies
  • Manage all conference rooms and scheduling
  • Maintain the lunchrooms clean and restock daily utensils
  • Order all office supplies and coffee supplies as requested and submit purchase order for CFO approval
  • Serve as a second back-up to the Business Office accounts payable filing
  • Other tasks as assigned by department heads as needed

Human Resources

  • Assist with human resources administrative duties as assigned
  • Recruitment : Manage the employment applicant database and on-boarding process to include attending recruitment fairs and the posting of job opportunities on selected websites and job boards
  • Screening & Selection : Manage seasonal staff background and drug testing screenings
  • Training & Development : Assist with and conduct new hire / onboarding staff training
  • Employee Relations : Organize Orange Bowl Committee staff events (i.e. anniversaries and birthdays)
  • Must be available to work Orange Bowl Committee events (weekdays and weekends) including but not limited to the Orange Bowl Youth Football League

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years of experience or equivalent human resources / business experience.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly organized and demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and organizational skills. Proofreading skills required.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Photoshop and Publisher a plus.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 30 wpm.
