Job Description
As a program manager for the Insights Team, you'll be responsible for the management of data projects for the Source to Pay team. Your expertise will help drive the data journey for our org and bring key insights to our stakeholders so they can make informed decisions.
The team sits within the Source to Pay Group and manages all reporting and analytics across the entire organization. They also work to educate users on data and analytics to make their day-to-day lives easier.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of data across multiple platforms.
- Document requirements with stakeholders and business partners to better evaluate and understand business needs.
- Manage project and task intake, prioritization, and roadmaps.
- Conduct sprint planning and workload management for the team during the sprint.
- Provide communications to key stakeholders.
- Use a key understanding of data and analytics to drive value for the team.
- Assist with and contribute to global continuous improvement programs for S2P reporting including reporting governance, systems, and data management.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive feedback.
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with analytical tools and systems.
- Strong knowledge of strategic planning, Agile, Scrum, and sprint methodologies.
- Knowledge of data tools like Tableau and Thoughtspot is preferred.
Education/Experience:
- BA/BS in a relevant field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
Top 3 must-have hard skills:
- Agile Sprint Methodology experience.
- Project management.
- Stakeholder management.
Good to have skills:
- Data analysis.
- Familiarity with data tools (Tableau, Thoughtspot, etc).
- Process documentation experience.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Reviewing tasks that come through our centralized intake.
- Reaching out to requesters for additional information if needed.
- Working with the team to help prioritize the tasks.
- We have our sprint standup 4 times a week during our two-week sprints.
- Sprint planning happens once every three weeks
- We also have a sprint retrospective once every three weeks.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
