Orangetheory® Fitness

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Regional Sales and Operations Manager (ROM) is responsible for overseeing the sales and operation standards of studios within WCF, including franchisees under the AR umbrella. In addition, the ROM is entrusted with leading and supporting the recruitment and ongoing training of all incoming operational employees. The ROM is responsible for working alongside the Regional Team towards driving all areas of the business with a special focus on growing the culture, development, and training of the operational side through technical expertise. The ROM is responsible for holding operational teams accountable, facilitating community events, conducting studio evaluations, and developing Studio Managers and Sales Teams to meet/exceed company standards. The ROM works in conjunction with the Regional Fitness Manager (RFM) to ensure the budget is achieved through sales/profitability, streamlined studio operations, high-quality coaching, recruitment/optimal staffing, and in-studio culture. This is a salary-exempt Monday-Friday role (with periodic exceptions to working weekends such as in-studio and out-of-studio events), reporting to the Director of Sales and Fitness Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and oversee the operations of multiple locations within the region
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency
  • Ensure OTF sales process and marketing strategies are executed
  • Manage and fulfill organizational staffing needs
  • Perform monthly evaluations of Studio Managers and provide mentoring for improvement
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of managers and staff members
  • Lead and manage projects to achieve strategic objective
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence
  • Monitor financial performance, including profit loss analysis, and take corrective actions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, a plus (preferred); current CPR/ AED certification
  • Knowledge Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a leader in the fitness industry (preferred); basic computer skills (MS Office a plus); experience in the fitness industry in a leadership role; direct experience in sales training required; minimum of 2 years experience in sales and/or sales management (preferred)
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated and driven sales professional; excellent communication and organization skills required; ability to effectively administer training presentations to small groups, with previous experience in training/mentoring; stellar time management and organizational skills; compliance with the OTF brand
