About the Role The Director of Business Operations will elevate the Tegra APL Professional Services team to new heights of operational excellence. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of operational support specialists in managing the PS P&L, including monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
What does a great Director of Business Operations do? Collaborating with sales, engineering and customer success teams, the Director of Business Operations will create a best-in-class delivery model tailored to client needs and expectations. Additionally, they will transform business operations by developing and implementing best practices, policies and procedures to standardize and streamline delivery.
How you will provide meaningful contributions: - Maintain and evolve the Tegra APL Professional Services Operational P&L to accurately measure and forecast bookings, revenue, and margins.
- Lead strategic and financial planning process (e.g. Monthly Reviews, Forecasts, Annual Budget, and Long-Range plan) - include target setting and actively engaging in the evolution of Professional Services.
- Evolve, scale, and mature the foundational commercial and financial infrastructure across governing, reporting, and planning in partnership with Finance/Accounting.
- Lead and evolve end-to-end process for Professional Services Statements of Work in partnership across Tegra APL organization with the goal to streamline the process, speed to implement and drive revenue target-setting and decision-making for Professional Services.
- Lead and manage the Tegra APL Professional Services internal processes to monitor and report on client delivery across multiple platforms.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline and standardize delivery of services to clients in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer success teams to align delivery with client needs and expectations. Evaluate and make key decisions on tradeoffs, risks, issues, and changes.
- Analyze delivery data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation optimize resource utilization and maximize profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client delivery to track performance and make data-driven decisions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and mentor a team of operational support resources, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Analyze and provide insight into continuous pipeline of client requests and opportunities to target and prioritize discovery efforts.
- Support Head of Professional Services with standard business operations such as hiring, team coordination, and continuous team feedback.
- Act as a mentor and source of escalation to Professional Services Resources for processes, coordination, and impediments.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration: - Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to adapt to changing processes and a growing organization
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities appropriately
- Conduct executive level status meetings both internal and external
- Experience with standard project management tools such as Jira, MS project, Smartsheets
- Ability to create, track and own budgets including actuals and forecasts
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or technology
- 10 years in Professional Services Business Operations leadership positions
Preferred Skills / Experience - Financial services industry knowledge/experience and working in a matrixed (shared resources) environment
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Tempo

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location. Salary range: $120,000 - $200,000
