Orbcomm is Hiring a Senior Paralegal Near Sterling, VA
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing NDAs and sales and vendor contracts and amendments, as well as corresponding regarding contract matters and coordinating distribution of documents.
- Creating issues summaries to assist with the negotiation of contracts.
- Coordinating internal signature processes for contracts and corporate documents.
- Ad hoc legal research as needed on corporate topics and organization of research files and memoranda.
- Assisting with the engagement and management of external legal counsel.
- Filing legal matters and data/records management, including litigation holds and privacy data requests, including DSARs, etc.
- 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Paralegal certification is not required, but a plus.
- Attention to detail and extensive proofreading experience.
- Excellent MS Word and data management skills.
- Familiarity with drafting aspects of technology contracts, amendments and statements of work (including detailed commercial exhibits and provisions).
- Previous work experience with a technology company, or with a law firm department providing technology law services and corporate governance support is desirable.
