We are seeking a motivated and experienced Prep Lead to join our team. As the Evening Prep Lead, you will oversee the preparation and organizing of ingredients and supplies for our evening shift.

Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and culinary expertise will ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and manage the prep team to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare and portion ingredients according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the kitchen manager to ensure adequate stock levels for the evening shift.
• Ensure all food items are labeled, dated, and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Train and mentor new team members on proper food handling and preparation techniques.
• Collaborate with the kitchen manager to develop and refine prep procedures, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in the creation and execution of new menu items and specials.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to recipe standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for the evening prep team.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
