Orchard & Vineyard Supply is currently hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Associate in the warehouse at our Yakima facility. This position is primarily Monday through Friday with Saturday work during our busy season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Shipping & receiving for Ag Supplies and parts merchandise. USP, FedEx and Shipping software experience preferred.

2. Receiving pallets/boxes from various carriers.

3. Familiarity with inventory intake.

4. Computer experience a must.

5. Experience in billing, sales orders, receiving purchasing orders and processing transfers.

6. Fork lift experience a plus.

7. Follow safety protocols in place. We look out for you. You look out for you!

8. Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

9. Self-motivated and able to work together with a team or operate individually.

10. Trustworthy and dependable with a thorough thought process and a problem-solving mindset.

11. Reliable transportation.

12. Work is inside and outside.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School graduate/GED required. 6 months related experience and/or training. Experience working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation. 1 year experience operating a forklift.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
