We are looking to hire a Part-Time Weekend Activities Assistant. Shift is for 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate!

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with planning, coordinate and direct resident activity programs for the Assisted Living, Memory Care, Light Assisted Living & Independent Living Community.
• Work with Director to compose monthly calendar of events for the Community.
• Create a social environment through out the community and promote the events and activities that are occurring.
• Attend and assist with all planned activities and special events, decorating for the major holidays, etc.
• Assist with surveying residents and making observations and recommendations to determine what activities are of interest.
• Encourage resident participation in all events and activities.
• Assist with the coordination of weekly and special outside activities, participating in excursions, keeping a cell phone charged and ready to communicate resident status and location with the community throughout the workday.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a vehicle to assist with running errands from time to time.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds occasionally.
• Food Handlers permit.
• CPR/1st Aid Certificate.
