DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with all environmental regulations including GMP’s, HACCP and OSHA
• Maintain a clean and safe environment while observing all PPE standards and precautions.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as FDA standards.
• Maintain high standards QA, QC, and sanitation for both machines and products.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Provide support to the maintenance department by processing all paperwork, track parts usage and input data into computer systems/CMMS related to PM’s, work orders, Downtime, Environmental items, etc.
• Maintain an organized and functional Parts Inventory Tracking System.
• Order all parts for inventory, receive them, and catalog their arrival.
• All parts will be tagged, logged in computer, and stocked back into proper location.
• Min / Max levels will be constantly audited for accuracy.
• Manage Critical Parts Inventory.
• Keep a schedule of projects and large repairs for posting daily.
• Receive quotes for parts and other items needed through an approved vendor.
• Create PO requisitions for purchasing.
• Maintain critical parts lists for plant equipment.
• Issue parts and materials for Maintenance by work orders.
• Perform inventory cycle counts regularly and ensure Min / Max levels are constantly audited for accuracy.
• Inventory all parts and/or equipment received/distributed.
• Maintain an accurate running inventory.
• Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all parts received.
• Records, reports, and returns defective items.
• Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the maintenance parts area.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (extended periods of sitting/standing, pull, push, carry, lift more than 10lbs)
• Possess knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Proficient usage of Microsoft Office and CMMS is required.
• Able to communicate complex information effectively to other employees.
• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Able to strictly follow all safety procedures and policies in place.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal hands-on coaching and direction.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
