OREGON CITY SD 62 is Hiring a Middle School Assistant Principal Near Oregon, OR
Position Description:
Under the supervision of the principal, the assistant principal helps with supervision and evaluation of staff, assists in the improvement of curriculum and instruction to ensure high academic achievement of all students, and works to maintain a learning environment through proper student behavior on campus and during student activities and athletics. This individual will act as the building administrator during the principal's absence.
Special Requirements:(Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience)
1.Master’s degree and valid Oregon administrative license required.
2.Must have a minimum of five years of successful teaching or school administrative experience in public education. 3.Assist in the interpretation and implementation of school district policy and procedures.
4.Assist the principal with supervision and leadership for the instructional program.
5.Share responsibility for the supervision of student discipline, safety procedures and student government.
6.Performs other tasks as assigned.
7. Bilingual preferred.
This position is for the 2015/16 school year.
