OREGON CITY SD 62 is Hiring a TEMPORARY/Long Term Substitute - Structured Behavior Classroom Near Oregon, OR
Position Description- Teach 3 periods per day of specially designed instruction plus advisory (advisory is 4 days/week) -
Dates: 8/26/2024 - 12/20/2024

- Implement advisory curriculum
- Collaborate with department, building, district, and community stakeholders
- Communicate effectively with students, staff members and parents
- Special education license required
- Experience in a structured classroom preferred
- AVID experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of high leverage instructional strategies
- Ability to create a student-centered classroom
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Ability to deliver instruction in a culturally responsive manner
- Knowledge of social and emotional needs of high school students
- Interest in becoming involved in the whole TMS community
