Our scheduling team is growing! Oregon Imaging Centers, LLC (OIC) is currently seeking an experienced, compassionate, and enthusiastic Patient Access Specialist to join our scheduling team.
The Patient Access Specialist is a full-time position (flexibility is critical for this position), and would be responsible for scheduling appointments, procedures, verifying electronic and faxed orders are accurate to the standards of OIC.
Works closely with the Pre-Authorization and Health Records departments verifying insurance and patient information.
Educate patients on the exam process, supplying directions to our different locations and ensuring a positive, effective, and efficient scheduling experience for our patients.
The Patient Access Specialist position is a fast-paced, high-energy call center environment within our scheduling department.
Qualified candidate must be able to communicate effectively and provide quality customer service to the patient, provider, insurance company, and internal staff.
The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, time management, multi-tasking, and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and the ability to prioritize, exercise excellent judgment, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality is also required.
