Position: Food Service Site leader
Monday through Friday / 7 hours per day / .8750 FTE / 7:00am - 2:30pm
Job Statement: Will perform routine kitchen duties, food preparation, clean up and related work in preparing and distributing food for consumption by students and school personnel.
Qualifications

• One-year of progressively responsible experience in food preparation, cooking and baking for a school lunch or similar program, including menu planning, food orders, inventory control and work coordination.
• Ability to prepare salads, sandwiches and basic foods.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Knowledge of health codes, sanitation principles and safety standards.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quantity food preparation desired.

Salary/Benefits: As provided in negotiated agreement with classified staff bargaining unit.
Salary Range: $16.90 - $21.41
District pays PERS contribution. Excellent benefit package.
