We are seeking a full time CRNA to work alongside our highly reputable providers in providing superior and cutting-edge care to our patients.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) , in collaboration with the treating providers and surgeons, is responsible for supporting surgical procedures through the administration of anesthesia and other medications to patients of Oregon SurgiCenter, a Urology Surgery Center located in Springfield Oregon.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Review the pre-anesthesia assessment and evaluation of the patient prior to the surgical procedure.
• Develop and administer anesthesia care plan prior to surgical procedures.
• Administer anesthetic drugs and agents
• Monitoring and measurement of physiologic variables during anesthesia and recovery.
• Educate patients on the effects of the anesthesia in both a pre-op and post-op setting.
• Maintenance and application of various techniques for physiologic maintenance, measurement, and evaluation in the operating room.
• Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia
• Participation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, particularly airway management
• Performance and documentation of post-operative assessment after an anesthetic.
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates will hold a current active state licensure as a certified registered nurse anaesthetist in the State of Oregon and complies with any applicable state statutory and regulatory requirements concerning CRNAs. He/she should be a graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. This individual will work independently and use independent judgement to determine appropriate care for our patients. As such, 3 plus years of experience are highly preferred.
