Oregon Urology Institute is Hiring a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse Near Springfield, OR
As a Lead Licensed Practical Nurse at Oregon SurgiCenter, you will play a pivotal role in patient care by preparing patients for examination and treatment, taking patient histories and vital signs, and assisting physicians with procedures. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, possess appropriate licensure from the State of Oregon as a LPN, and have graduated from an accredited MOA or LPN program. Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for examination and treatment, take patient histories and vital signs.
- Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms and instruments, assist physicians with procedures.
- Leadership: Provide direction and training to staff LPNs and Medical Assistants.
- Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience highly preferred.
- Licensure: Appropriate licensure from the State of Oregon as a LPN.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited MOA or LPN program required.
- Skills: Able to assist in a variety of treatments, skilled in taking vital signs.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, patients, and coworkers.
- Certification: Current healthcare level CPR certification required.
- Flexibility: Must be flexible and a quick learner.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Schedule: Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, with evenings rarely required.
