Oriden Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a Director of Real Estate. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Experience : Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience
Education : Undergraduate degree in business, legal, real estate, finance, or a related field. Graduate degree a plus, but not required.
Valued Skills include:
- Prospect and contract suitable greenfield sites thru land options, leases, and sales with landowners
- Assist in creating initial site concept plans and work closely with the engineering team to identify risks and possible solutions for site constraints and other challenges
- Interact with landowners, local government officials, project neighbors, investor representatives and utility contacts across multiple geographies to advance utility scale solar, storage, and Green Hydrogen projects
- Manage Oriden internal resources, consultants, and vendors responsible for critical land acquisition and project management tasks to ensure on time delivery and accuracy of required work products
- Review and aligning key project documents to create consistent approach to real estate management across Oriden’s portfolio
- Identify value-added and profitability influencers through development, regulatory and permitting analysis to improve project bankability
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels.
- Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Always maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
