We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hospital Pharmacist to join our decentralized pharmacy team. This role involves providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting, covering various departments including the ER, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy, with experience in Vancomycin AUC dosing and the ability to attend codes. This position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and 90 days of housing, with a commitment of 2 years.
Certifications/Licensure Requirements

• Arizona Pharmacist License - Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Preferred (will attend codes)
• IV Pharmacist/Compounding Pharmacist - Preferred

Areas Of Coverage

• Emergency Room (ER)
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Inpatient Pharmacy
• Outpatient Pharmacy

Common Duties/Job Requirements/Skills

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a decentralized pharmacy setting
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and timely
• Monitor patient medication therapies and adjust dosages as necessary
• Participate in emergency codes and provide critical care support
• Compound sterile preparations as needed
• Utilize EMR systems such as EPIC, Lexicomp, and Baxter IQ

Experience Or 'Must Have' Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience in a facility with a similar size (250 census)
• Proficiency with Vancomycin AUC dosing

Supervision And Staffing

• One clinical manager available on-site 5 days a week
• Support from Pharmacy Technicians

Shifts & Scheduling

• Information on self-scheduling and block scheduling TBD

Weekend Requirements

Holiday Requirements

• Must work 2 out of 3 holidays

Medication Dispensing Systems

• Omnicell systems, including Central Pharmacy Robot, Carousel, Omnicell XT Cabinets, and Omnicell Controlled Substance Cabinet

Dress Code Requirements

• Business casual with a white coat or khaki scrubs

• Pharmacists are generalists and must be flexible to work in various areas as needed.
• The position is for inpatient pharmacy services.
