This position involves working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, providing critical care to patients experiencing trauma, STEMI, and stroke. The hospital is a designated STEMI and Stroke receiving center, with protocols in place to ship out patients requiring stroke intervention.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Level 3 trauma center, STEMI, and Stroke receiving unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 in medical and 1:6 in fast track settings.
• Support patient care by working closely with monitor technicians.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Qualifications:
• Current and valid RN license in AZ.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in trauma, cardiac, or emergency care.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC certification preferred.
