Reporting to the President, The Factory Manager will have full responsibility for a single Manufacturing Unit including (but not exclusive to);
· Materials management
· Lead-time Management
· Cost Management
· Machining Layout & Maintenance
· Logistics
· Production Scheduling
· Total Quality Management
· Training production personnel
· Managing performance
· Fully versed in OSHA
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for factory production, financial performance, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of factory floor activities.
Knowledge of all products and their associated operating characteristics; factory layout, production capacity, production procedures, practices, and quality standards.
Confers with department heads regarding availability of raw materials, product quality control, related production records, labor and material costs and other factors to keep operating costs at budgeted levels.
Oversee and ensure product quality control
Support and implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen Events, and other continuous process improvements activities.
Other duties as assigned by the President and CEO
