About The Role

As a Tech Lead of the Applications team, you will play a pivotal role in developing customer and operational UX via mobile apps, web interface, and cloud server. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders in developing WiFi sensing applications. We are looking for a creative and collaborative person with strong technical problem-solving skills and application-development experience. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional product team. You will have a huge impact on Origin’s fast-growing suite of WiFi sensing offerings.

• Technical Leadership:

• • • Provide technical guidance and leadership and mentorship to a team of server-side and mobile app developers.
    • Define technical standards, best practices, and coding conventions for the team.

• Architecture and Design:

• • • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance server-side and mobile applications.
    • Architect and implement robust APIs, databases, and server-side components to support mobile app functionality.
    • Ensure adherence to architectural principles, security standards, and scalability requirements.

• Development and Implementation:

• • • Participate in development, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes across server and mobile app platforms.

• Project Management:

• • Collaborate with product managers to plan and prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage project timelines.
  • Track progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure the successful delivery of products.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, provide regular updates, and solicit feedback to drive alignment and transparency.

About You:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in software development in both server-side development and mobile app development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar.
• Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with server-side frameworks (e.g., Node.js) and mobile app frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
