Original Services, Inc. is an Oilfield Service Company that was established in April of 2010 and currently has operations from two facilities; San Angelo, TX and Carlsbad, NM. Both locations service the Permian Basin with San Angelo servicing the Midland Basin & Eastern Shelf and Carlsbad servicing the Delaware Basin.

Mobile On-Site Accommodations – OSI provides turn-key services and rentals, in remote locations, for its customers’ operations. This includes renting furnished living accommodations, power, water systems, waste water systems, and satellite tv. It also includes mobilizing and servicing the equipment, i.e hauling water to location, hauling waste water from location to disposal, and general service/maintenance for OSI’s equipment. Equipment Rentals – OSI also provides on-site surface equipment rentals, in remote locations, for its customers’ operations. This includes trash trailers, generators, light towers, and porta potties. It also includes mobilizing and servicing the equipment. It is necessary for OSI to subcontract some of these services and/or re-rent some of this equipment occasionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments

Ø Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and Human Resources

Ø Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records

Ø Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals

Ø Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures, divisions, capital expenditures, and equipment and service costing, etc. when necessary

Ø Assure that assets are not awkwardly encumbered with personal guarantees or unrealistic commitments

Ø Interface with outside audit firms, banks and lessors, insurance agents, credit card companies, collection agencies, and other vendors as necessary to develop stronger relationships with all parties

Ø Provide a visionary and leadership implementation role on behalf of Finance and Human Resources to all departments, creating a well-respected and sought after department goal

Ø Supervise overall office functions (including: Safety, Security, Computer Services and Building Maintenance)

Ø Other duties as necessary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY – Future Possibility

Manages the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Accounting/Finance, & HR Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
