The Director of Procurement will be responsible for developing and executing the procurement strategy to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of capacity and services essential for their 3PL operations. Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Planning

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify and leverage emerging trends and opportunities in the logistics industry.
• Lead the procurement team in sourcing and negotiating contracts with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

Vendor Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly and manage risk to ensure continuity of capacity.
• Develop and implement vendor management programs to drive performance improvements and cost reductions.

Cost Management and Budget

• Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

Qualifications:
