Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams monitor, report, and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators.
- Identify and report financial discrepancies, particularly in margins, for informed decision making.
- Determine customer pricing using historical data and market trends.
- Analyze and present findings to leadership for strategic pricing decisions that balance competitiveness with maximizing profitability.
- Develop financial reports that summarize and forecast the company’s business activity, financial position, margins, expenses, and earnings.
- Utilize historical data, current operations, and projected activities to provide a clear financial outlook to support strategic planning.
- Lead budgeting, working with department heads to align budgets with company objectives.
- Create and refine tools for analyzing financial data, identify trends and variances that could impact the business.
- Quickly adapt to provide stakeholders with timely, accurate financial insights.
- Support critical finance projects and assist upper management in project management activities.
- Perform business modeling and analysis as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- At least 3 years of financial analysis experience, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Logistics industry experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with financial analysis software and ERP systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills in complex financial situations.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to adjust quickly to meet changing business needs.
- Capable of working both as part of a team and independently.
- High sense of urgency with exceptional prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
- Proactive and resourceful, suitable for a dynamic environment.
