Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop new FHA, FNMA, Bridge Loan, M&A & USDA business through direct interface with prospective clients, vendors, associations, and marketing partners;
- Understand, analyze, and effectively communicate complex financial structures and operations issues related to the market rate and seniors housing and healthcare sectors;
- Manage the deal execution of all transactions sourced, leveraging the firm’s underwriters and analytical support teams;
- Make presentations to prospective clients as well as at state and national association meetings and conventions;
- Interface with clients to obtain necessary documentation and appropriately manage the closing process with a variety of capital sources.
- Involvement in corporate and strategic initiatives as the need arises
- Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers

Education, Skills, & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, real estate, economics, pre-law, or a related field. MBA preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in the financial industry, preferably in the seniors housing sector or commercial real estate banking
- Proven track record of developing new client relationships, winning financing engagements, and closing transactions
- Working knowledge and experience with some or all of the below structures: FHA insurance; FNMA loan structures, bridge lending, and sell-side advisory Series 7 Licensed Securities Representative (or Series 79, 52, and 63 if applicable)
- Entrepreneurial ambitious and a self-starter
- Exhibits appropriate professional standards and the highest degree of integrity
- Impeccable compliance record
- Proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Must be resourceful, flexible, and maintain the ability to react and respond quickly with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the region working long hours, including some weekends as necessary
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must possess very strong written and verbal communication skills
