TITLE: Match Operations Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Live Events
REPORTS TO: Sr Competition Manager
FLSA: Part-Time; Non-Exempt
WHAT SETS YOU APART
The Match Operations Coordinator will be responsible for oversight of all operational tasks associated with producing an MLS Next Pro match.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the lead for all MLS Next Pro events and manage the delivery of assigned game, event, and club operational responsibilities
  • Assist in managing gameday operations for MLS, NWSL, and third-party events
  • Responsible for all field and locker room setup prior to team and officials' arrival (goals, VAR, corner flags, locker rooms, etc.) at Osceola County Stadium at Osceola Heritage Park
  • Create production packets and lead the gameday production meeting for each MLS Next Pro event.
  • Maintain the integrity of the field at all times and ensure that teams, officials, staff, and presentation elements are all in place at the required times
  • Report substitutions, goals, and other relevant information to the production booth to inform the PA announcer as needed
  • Address all team, referee, and player requests professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Address all noncompliance issues in a timely manner and create a plan of action for correcting items as needed.
  • Assist with managing inventory of all assets and items.
  • Monitor the weather system for all MLSNP events in conjunction with the Training Facility Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of professional soccer/match operations experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of match operations, presentation, customer service practices, and event services.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise activities for interns, contractors, concessionaires, and vendors.
  • Must have excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Able to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work flexible and sometimes demanding schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
